Time Zone Converter
Enter a time in one zone and convert it to 14 major world time zones at once, with UTC offsets and timestamp.
What this tool does
Enter a time and its time zone, and convert it to 14 major world zones in one shot, with the corresponding UTC time and Unix timestamp. Daylight saving is handled automatically — the tool uses the browser's built-in IANA time zone database, so New York's UTC-5/-4 and London's UTC+0/+1 are resolved per date. Nothing to memorize.
Typical use cases
Scheduling with overseas teams: “3pm Beijing — what time is that in New York?” Paste it in and see every zone at once. Catching a product launch, a match, or an earnings call live; annotating docs with per-zone times for distributed teams; mapping UTC server-log timestamps back to local time.
Caveats
Daylight saving is the biggest trap: the US and Europe switch on different dates, so for a couple of weeks each March and October the usual offset relationships shift — converting by memory fails here, converting by actual date does not. Dates may differ across zones (Friday morning in Beijing is Thursday afternoon in San Francisco), so confirm the day as well as the hour. For legal or financial deadlines, specify UTC or an explicit zone abbreviation.
